Ok so it has been awhile since I have posted anything, but that is simply because I haven't been able to find my camera; until today. First off we all know how husbands are a little squeamish about changing diapers. How does this relate to finding my camera you ask? Well It had been awhile since Jon had changed one of Jaren's diapers and I had just changed one of Hailey's. So I asked him if he wouldn't mind changing Jaren it would be nice. Upon agreeing to this, I warned him to wait just a bit because Jaren looked like he still wasn't quite done. Jon was already making faces before he even opened the diaper, and he started to get him all cleaned up when out shot some more, and I mean SHOT. Jon started freaking out and I just laughed. It had gotten on his leg and the couch. He then said ok you're finishing this. So I went over and cleaned Jaren up and removed the couch cushions, and low and behold there was my camera wedge up in the corner of the cushion. So I just thanked Jaren for pooping on daddy so I could find my camera. lol.
So besides that I have been busy this month working on crafts and preparing for Hailey's birthday. I can't believe she will already be two. She is so smart. She can count to ten pretty much on her own and she sings the ABC's with me. Along with a sling of other vocab, including; share, cute, pop (which means Popsicle, and she asks for one regularly) bite, and much more.
Here are a couple of crafts I have done. I found them on other blogs and concocted my own make of it.
The cozy car caddy from homemade by Jill:
I've also been working on a quiet book and I'll post pictures from that later. It's still in the works.
We have also recently aquired a new member in the family. Our dog Rosco got out at ten one night and never came back. He was more than likely stolen and was not at the pound. The kids and I were really upset, so Jon surprised us all by getting us a puppy.
His name is Niko... (Jon named him) He is a German shepherd/ lab mix. He is quite the handful, but Jon loves him. He won't admit it, but he gives more attention to that dog then the kids. Anyways hopefully I'll be able to keep up on things now that I have my camera. I'm partial to reading posts with pictures myself.
Thanks for ready about my crazy life.
