Hailey's birthday

Thank you to all who came and made Hailey's birthday special and fun. I know she had a great time. :) I can't believe she is two! Here some pictures from the party. She took a nap before her party and Kirt put stickers all over her lol. Kirt also helped with her cake. He rolled his own fondant and put it on.

Fun Week

We have just been having a fun week! It was Hailey's birthday this past Tuesday. We are having her party tomorrow. Anyways we were able to do some mommy daughter shopping while Jon stayed home with the boys. Hailey is hilarious when it comes to shopping. She will go pick Items up show me and say "cute." Thats all good and fun for her, but when it's time to go she gets upset because well lets just face it she isn't done shopping yet. lol I've created a monster. So with that aside we were able to get some fun spring clothes since it is already starting warm up. I know you're all excited. Then today we went shopping with aunt Karie, and visited Nanna. She came in town for Hailey's party. YAY! The kids had a blast at Tempe Market Place. It was so nice outside!

Crafty time with the kids

Jon has been in Flag since Monday, so today the kids and I made Valintines Day cards. I need to get more glue sticks. Hailey kept saying, "glue, glue, Kirt glue," She didn't like having to take turns. That was the best part of the craft for her. They actually did a pretty good job pasting the hearts down. They enjoyed themselves thats what was important.

Hailey's birthday is in two weeks I'm not even ready. I just got invitations out so hopefully you'll be getting them in your mail in the next couple of days. :) Hope you all can come. It's going to be Tea-rrific. Well won't be serving tea lol, but we are going to have lots of tasty treats.

On Sunday after church we were all relaxing and Jon unbuttoned Jaren's shirt and set him down to soak up the sun. Then he said "he's bringing sexy back" I just laughed. My little hot stuff!

Outside project

Since we have lived in our house we haven't given much attention to our backyard. It is one of my goals for this yeart to start a garden and our back yard is pretty messy. So here are some before pictures. I need everything raked up, trees purned, a stump removed, a dead tree taken to the dump, and gravel removed. It is a huge project and Jon is gone so much I'm about ready to hire someone to do it. I'm going to work on it this week and hopefully I can get the major stuff done before Hailey's birthday. So much to do so little time!

Monograms

I just love monograms and have been wanting to do some for each of the kids for some time now. I've just been super busy. Anyways I was browsing through blogs and I found this post on Unnecesssary Necessities http://amber-unnecessarynecessities.blogspot.com/2008/03/l-is-for-livy.html for steps on the how to. It is super easy and not expensive to make at all. I had most of it on hand. Anyways here is the first one I did for Haileys room. I'm going to be getting a shelf to hang it on the wall.
